Danielle Kiesler, MA, LMFT, SEP
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Somatic (body-inclusive) Psychotherapist. My work draws from several therapy modalities and coaching practices. These include Object Relations, Bowen Family Systems, Expressive Arts Therapy, and various mindfulness based techniques. I am the Owner of Dance of Change Counseling Center based in Saint Louis, Missouri. As a former Wellness Director, I worked in collaboration with Stanford’s Health Improvement Project[HIP] as well as hospitals and corporations based in California.
I am passionate about helping couples, families and fellow healers overcome relationship barriers and get better together. There are often implicit (non-verbal) patterns that get in the way of our most important relationships. This may be due to trauma, family patterning or various life stressors. It’s an honor and a pleasure to help you and your loved one reconnect, communicate and grow together. Often, they can feel both expansive and at peace both within themselves and with each other. These patterns of interaction between two people are what I call the dance. Each person’s dance is unique, and each couples and families’ dance is unique. It’s my job to help you discover what your unique dance is, and if it’s stuck in any way, to change it in a good way.
My Approach
I take a unique approach that integrates interpersonal neurobiology with developmental theory, family systems, mindfulness and experiential approaches. In addition to my training as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I am an experienced yoga instructor, writer, dancer, wife and mom.
